How much does a chimney inspection cost in Metro Detroit?
A chimney inspection from Moses Chimney costs $49. That's a Level 1, the yearly check. Cleaning with the inspection is $349, and a camera through the flue adds $75.

You can book the inspection, the cleaning and the camera online with a 3-hour arrival window. When you book online you can choose a quantity for each service, for homes with more than one flue or fireplace.
What the $49 inspection covers
A Level 1 covers the parts of the chimney and fireplace that can be reached without special tools or removing anything. It's the right inspection when the chimney is easy to get to and you plan to keep using it the way you have been.
The $49 is credited toward any repair or service we do after the inspection.
When you'd need a Level 2 instead
A Level 2 adds the chimney areas in the attic, basement and crawl spaces, and a camera through the flue. It's the one to book when a house is being bought or sold, when a heating appliance or the fuel changes, or after a chimney fire or storm damage. How repairs are priced
Repairs aren't priced before anyone has seen the chimney. We quote them in writing after the inspection, so you have the price before any work is booked.
